Term 4 - Welcome back

Hey everyone,

Welcome back to the wonderful Room 11 for Term 4.
I have decided I will put class notices on our blog as well as it's easy for most people to access and it means more people will keep an eye on our blog and see what we've been up to.

1) Year 4's have Athletics practices this week and Athletics Day for Years 4-8 is next Thursday (PP date 7/11)
2) As it's Term 4 the children need to be wearing their hats
3) Please return Portfolios to me ASAP if you haven't already
4) Year 3's have Athletic Sports on 16/11 and PP date 18/11
5) Our class topic this term is 'Financial Literacy'. The class have heaps of way of earning 'money' and we're hoping to go to a bank and see a real vault too!
6) Basic Facts - please practice basic facts maths questions eg doubles to 20 ( 4 + 4), how many tens in a number (eg How many tens in 650), 2, 5 and 10 times tables, and finding a 1/4 and 1/2 of a number

That's the important things for now - I'll update you throughout the term when the need arises.
