Inquiry Unit Term One

As you know during Term One we went to Quail Island. This was our 'Immersion' day into our inquiry unit. While we were at Quail Island we found out that dogs were trained there before they went to Antarctica. So then we wanted to find out more about Antarctica - and we followed Jude McKendry's  (a teacher from Ladbrooks School) blog of her journey to Antarctica on the Spirit of Enderby.

Students in Room 11 developed their own questions, gathered and processed information and then shared their learning with the rest of the class by videoing their answers or creating posters. Here are some of the videos. They are awesome!
